MMag. Mihnea R. Hristea

Mihnea Hristea studied physics from 1969 to 1973 in Bucharest, Romania and worked after his graduation in different research laboratories in Bucharest, which where concerned with biophysics and electro-chemistry. He also worked as Assistent Professor at the University of Ploiesti, Romania in the departement of physics. Since 2002 he is working together with Florian Wodlei doing research on a self-organizing chemical oscillatory reaction. From 2004 to 2007 he studied mathematics in Vienna, Austria in the field of group theory and finished his master degreee with a work on nilpotent groups. His scientific interests ranges from pure mathematics over statistics and graph theory to quantum field theory and non-equilibrium thermodynamics and dynamical systems. He was also teaching physics, mathematics and chemistry from 1990 to 2016 in the Waldorf school Klagenfurt.

Dr. Florian Wodlei

Florian Wodlei studied physics and chemistry in Graz, Austria between 2003 and 2010 where he finished his master degree in theoretical biophysics under the supervision of Hans-Hennig von Grünberg. He co-founded living systems research together with Mihnea Hristea in 2012 and is ever since working as independent researcher. From 2014 to 2017 he did his PhD in chemistry in Toulouse, France under the supervision of Véronique Pimienta. His scientific interest is in self-organizing and complex systems from experimental aswell as from an theoretical point of view. He is also working as a teacher for physics, mathematics and chemistry in Waldorf schools in Austria.

Dr. Giuseppe Alberti

Giuseppe Alberti obtained his Master Degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics in 2012, at the University "La Sapienza" in Rome (Italy) under the supervision of Marco Merafina. From 2014 to 2017 he did his PhD in Theoretical Physics at the University "Paul Sabatier" in Toulouse (France) under the supervision of Pierre-Henri Chavanis. His scientific interests refer mainly to the self-gravitating systems (e.g. Galaxies). In particular, he focuses his attention on the dynamic and thermodynamic instabilities of such systems. He is also interested in General Relativity.
